What we do
Hairston & Associates Editing is a web-consulting boutique. We learn your business, your customers’ needs, and your plans for growth to help your company develop the strongest possible language and marketing around your products and ideas. We take on projects individually and provide each of our clients with unique, organization-specific solutions.
Our Work
1. The process begins with a questionnaire and a free review of a section of your website*. We will ask you a few basic questions about your business, your customers, and your website’s purpose. Based on your answers, we will review a section or page from your website for free and offer suggestions on ways we could improve the rest of your website.
2. If you like our sample work, you can elect to have a comprehensive review of your website, a review of particular pages from your website, or a review of other business-related content and presentations.

Our Basic Service
Includes up to 3 full-text revisions of the content you have elected for review. You or your marketing/IT representatives can provide feedback and we will make the necessary adjustments up to two additional times after the first comprehensive review. We want to ensure that your organization is satisfied with the updated text we provide and any accompanying suggestions.
After each review of your text, we provide your web management/marketing/IT teams with:
- a rich text, formatting-free, version of the edited text
- a Microsoft Word document with original text annotated and editing tracked
- a formatted copy of the edited text pasted in the body of an email
Our Premium Service
Includes up to 3 full-text revisions of the content you have elected for review and a detailed presentation on improving your website's marketing. You or your marketing/IT representatives can provide feedback and we will make the necessary adjustments up to two additional times after the first comprehensive review. We want to ensure that your organization is satisfied with the updated text we provide and accompanying suggestions.
After each review of your text, we provide your web management/marketing/IT teams with:
- a rich text, formatting-free, version of the edited text
- a Microsoft Word document with original text annotated and editing tracked
- a formatted copy of edited text pasted in the body of an email
+ a detailed overview with our marketing suggestions, including screen captures of your existing web pages with highlighted suggestions for improvement in the flow, formatting, structure, and aesthetics of each page
Time Tables
Quality is our highest priority. Our estimated pricing, SLAs, and projected turnaround times are built on a case-by-case basis; each client is provided with a solution that is optimized for their needs.
If you are currently developing your website or plan to add new content in the near future, we also offer HAES, a subscription version of our Basic and Premium services, which will provide your organization with extended access to our services.
